NO SOUND FROM IPAD2

Hi,

I have an iPad 2 and since yesterday, it stopped playing sound(all sounds).
Checked
1. Volume button
2. Ipod volume limit
Reset, restart, restore everything done...

NO USE...

I think there is a problem with the hardware. Any insight on this issue will be helpful.

Are all sounds being muted, or do the iPod and Movies apps still play ok ? If iPod and Movies are ok, then have you checked that you havn't got 'mute notifications' set 'on' ? More info here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4085

I checked with the slide button set to orientation and Mute.
But there is no sound from any app and anything.

Absolutely no sound from anything..

Have you checked the multitasking bar? My iPad was muted there. When I deselected mute, everything worked again.

Yes I did checked that. That is not muted.
But still no sound

Yea, I have reset the ipad. Mentioned that in the first post itself.

However, I went to apple store and they replace my ipad2 with a new one. Thanks for the insight everyone.
