There are no movies in this library - apple TV 2

After iOS 4.3 update, I get the subject message when my Apple TV has been off for 30 min or so. If I turn off homeShare and then turn homeShare back on, all of the content appears and works great.

I have a theory that this only happens when you are connected via wireless. Is this how you guys are configured? I have two AppleTV 2s. One is in my tv room and it is wired. It never happens to that one. The second one is in my bedroom connected to a wall mounted flat screen. It is connected via 802.11n and this issue happens anytime I use it. So far I have just been powering it off. Hope a software update fixes this. They are both at the latest software revision.

This has been annoying me since the last software upgrade - a few weeks now. Every time I connect to the ATV2 to play a movie or music from iTunes, I get the message that there are no movies/music on the library. The only resolution I have found is a reset of the ATV2 from the remote - apart from turning the ATV2 off and back on of course.

TIme to log a support call perhaps?

Has anyone found a solution to this? I am having the same issues. Both Wireless and hard wired on my ATV2. I shut down and restart itunes and it works, but WHAT A PAIN. Come on Apple.. Seriously, test updates before you release them! I am using windows as well and agree, where is iTunes as a service?? It has been a long time now and this should be out by now if Apple wants to make iTunes a streaming platform.

If anyone has found a solution that would be SO much appreciated!!

I, too, have been having this problem since the software update. I had no problems whatsoever prior to the last software version. Though on mine it seems to be getting worse. To begin with it was only intermittent, now it happens every time the ATV goes to sleep. I had been closing and restarting iTunes on my iMac but now even that isn't fixing it for me. Had my ATV since November and haven't watched a single thing on regular television since then...but now it's pretty much worthless.

Also, with the last software update, YouTube videos take an interminably long time to load.

I am also getting "there are no movies in this library" message often. I also often get " an error occurred loading this content" message. Sometimes even after a brief pause. I'm using a 3 yr old Imac as a media server and all my software is up to date. It almost feels like the apple tv only works about half the time. The other half I'm forced to restart everything and try unplugging different things. It's very annoying, almost to the point where I'm starting to hate the product.
