iPod Touch 1st generation - A1213
iPod Touch 2nd generation - A1288
iPod Touch 3rd generation - A1318
iPod Touch 4th generation - A1367

You probably have the 2nd generation iPod Touch which is an 8GB model.
The 2nd generation 8GB iPod Touch was last offered in August of 2010.. I bought one in August of 2010 and the following month Apple came out with the 4th generation. There never was a 3rd generation 8GB iPod Touch.iMac 27 (11,3), iMac 21.5 (10,1), MacMini (3,1), iPod Touch, Mac OS X (10.6.6)
