FOLDERS DISAPPEARING!! DATA IS GONE!

Yesterday we had 2 folders disappear from our server. They contained artwork to over 500 advertisements. We're running OS X Server (10.3 Panther) on a Dual G5 with system 10.3.9. I have tried using Drive Genius to find these files but cannot find them anywhere.

I am afraid someone has accidentally (hopefully accidentally) thrown them away from their computer. Is there any way to find these files? They do not show up in the server trash can nor in the trash can that it gets put into.

PLEASE HELP.
