Upper left corner? I tried plugging headphones in and got nothing.
Are you sure the plug was all the way in? It often takes a fair amount of effort to completely seat it on an ipad, more than you need on the iphone/ipod.
Thank you for your response about pushing the headphones in all the way. I thought maybe I had a faulty jack. I actually had to push it in pretty hard. I wouldn't have pushed that hard had you not suggested it. Thanks
Be careful when you pull it out. Every now and then we get a post from somebody that breaks it off in the socket!
