silicone vs hard case

hi,

i am going to get a case for my ipod touch but i was wondering which type to get: silicone or hard. please answer my questions:

1. which case protects the itouch better when you accidentally drop it?

2. which case has better ventilation (ie. allows heat generated by the itouch to escape and does not cause overheating. also, allows the touch to "breathe")?

3. which case is better suited to be left on the touch always? (excluding when charging).

4. which do you prefer?

I'd say a hard case, even though the silicone case may absorb more shock if you drop it, if you bhave any pocket lint the friction from the case will make it stick to it, and theres a higher risk of overheating in a silicone case. Hope this helps.

Sorry to annoy you but could you tell me if your battery is charging properly now on your ipod touch 4g.I have tried looking probally on whole of googele to find a answer to make my ipod touch charge normal, by normal i mean taking around 4 hours from full discharge to full charge but mine take around 2.5 hours.

hi

wat do u mean by white marks? i've noticed the metal backing very very slightly fading in colour (a bit discoloured) when i used silicon case, but it's only a tiny bit in the bottom right corner of itouch. is this what u mean by leaving white marks?

If buy a silicone be warned it sometimes leaves whites marks on the back oh yeah is battery charging normal now

Hi,

well, i did a full discharge and charged right up to 100% and it now took around 2.5 hours for the full charge to conplete. still not 4 hours though.
