Was IOS 4.3 Released to Ipod Touch 2nd GEN?

I check for an update and i dont get one? it says 4.2.1 or something is current? do i get the upgrade or no? oh and if i do does my home screen get the backround change?

iPod touch, Other OS, Portable

2nd generation will NOT upgrade to 4.3

You are stuck at 4.2.1 like the rest of us with 2nd generation iPod Touch.....

Thats just lovely!! They really need to keep updationg for us our ipod is close to the third gen!

jeez why just sit they get enough complaints we could at least be one step behind 3rd and fourth you know they r on 4.4 we are on 4.3 thats fine with me how about you guys
