OSStatus error -9459 ?

Greetings Gurus,

I present to you my recurring error from iPhoto. I'm posting here because of the "OSStatus Error" part. I can't seem to find any reference to this particular code.

It occurs when trying to export a slideshow from iPhoto '09. The album is rather large - 4.6GB, and contains 935 pics. The originals reside on an external drive. The Slideshow was being saved in the Pictures folder in my Home Dir.

iPhoto chugs away for a considerable amount of time, and then when I come back I see this error message: Operation could not be completed. (OSStatus error -9459.)

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris.

In searching around on this problem the answer that I found is that this error is being created by the quicktime module that is doing the exporting and the screen saver. I had the same error yesterday first time I did it (only a 1.37 gig export) and I did it again but was using my machine so the screen saver did not kick in and it finished. I had to make some minor changes to the slide show today and twice now it has kicked out with the error message you have shown. I am now doing it a 3rd time with my screen savers and energy savings setting moved so they do not kick in. There was a detailed posting over in Mac Osx Hints that talked about this and the conflict. Will keep my fingers crossed.

I wound up making 5 separate slide shows, each around 1.2 GB. It seemed to work okay. I did change my Energy Saver settings to no screen saver or display sleep. Not sure if that was the trick or not. There was one larger sized slide show I attempted (1.5GB +) and it failed with the same error message. Still not sure what's going on.
