help removing a program

help removing a program

new to a mac here. im trying to uninstall roboform. i dragged the app to the trash, but i am still getting a notification (it is greyed out) in the menu bar (in the area near my wireless icon). how do i COMPLETELY remove this program? thanks.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.6)

Ryan,

Have you tried dragging the icon off the menu bar while holding down the command key?

i have tried. it will not let me (tried with all the buttons). i can click on it and "quit" but it comes back after a restart. do i need to delete a folder somewhere in the system?

Many apps can be removed by dragging to the trash. However, some leave bits and pieces behind as you found out.
