old quicktime pro key

Question

old quicktime pro key

i purchased a quicktime pro key years ago. now i have the latest macbook pro with the latest quicktime. i can not seem to find where to type in my old key to upgrade the standard quicktime player to pro.

If it's a QuickTime 7 Mac key, click here, install the software, and apply the key in it.

If it's another QuickTime Pro key, you can't.

if i use final cut express 4 is this a smart way to go? my fce4 works good right now. i just miss the qt pro features and want to restore them. i do have a qt pro 7 key.

Yes. Furthermore, it is the only method available. There is no QuickTime X Pro.
