error 3259

Having error code 3257 I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes ran diagnostic changed my firewall settings ran diagnostic again and iTunes said everything I did was a okay but same thing error code 3259. Then I called apple and they where nuts disable firewall or security settings ***!? Checked online found that 97% of the people said it was a internet explorer issue so I downloaded Firefox now what do I do? I never had this problem in the past with my security settings it's a new problem so it must be APPLE what can be done? PLEASE HELP EMAIL ME WITH ANSWER! Why did i get a new iPod having a pod i can't update ***** egg!
