Adding Godaddy email to iphone

i have tried absolutely everything about this and this is my last resort for help. i can receive emails on my iphone 3gs but i cannot send them as outgoing. does anybody know any other outgoing server port numbers that i can try. i have already tried using the 80, 465,3535. i talk to go daddy support and he recommended using the gmail outgoing server since i had a gmail account as well and that still didn't even work. any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I use my GoDaddy email accounts just fine on my iPhone 4.

I didn't need to setup any ports. Just set the outgoing server as "smtpout.secureserver.net."

According to a couple other disccusions I've read, other port possibilities are 25 and 587.

Go to your Settings/Mail/Account(what you called it)/Account/SMTP (outgoing mail Server)/Primary Server
Now make sure that your User Name = your email address
Make sure your password is entered.
If Use SSL is selected you want server port to be 465
If it is not try 3535.

Having issues with outgoing Godaddy mail as well.

Since I upgraded to iOs 4.3, I am unable to use smtpout.secureserver.net (GoDaddy's server) to send email if I'm not connected to WIFI. Once I'm connected to a WIFI station, it works fine. I haven't found a solution yet to use GoDaddy's SMTP on 3G yet.

For the record, the ports you can use are 25, 80, 587 and 3535. For SSL, you have to use port 465.
