Hi,

I couldn't help but notice that both my iPad 2 and iPhone 4 Safari Browser fail to show scroll bars within the "edit post" window. These are the scroll bars that normally appear on the right hand side of the window. Without them I can't edit a post that is more than a couple of paragraphs long. Just to be clear I mean the built-in browser, not any application.

I am seeing this behavior on blogs that are hosted on the wordpress.com site, which uses the latest version of WordPress.

Has anyone found a work-around for this problem?

not sure if it's a fix but seen wordpress dedicated apps in the app store maybe they can do the trick?

To scroll within a text box on the mobile version of Safari, you use two fingers. It takes a bit of practice but it works just fine.

PS: Thanks for not boxing my ears for calling a "text box" a "window". Yech!

Glad it helped! I wish I could say I was being nice. I didn't actually notice the error in terminology. I like to think I would have let it slide, though.
