I just bought an ADC Summit (Brunton) wich is a portable weather station, this device can log a lot of data and send them via it's infrared port to an infrared/usb receiver hooked to a computer. The problem is that the software used to sort the sent data is not Mac compatible. How can I retrieve all that is sent by the ADC Summit? Is there on the market an infrared receiver that would connects to a USB port on my Macbook pro and a way to retrieve and sort (a text file) what's received?

I know that what is sent from ADC is standard text format for data processing.
Thanks for your help
I know that I could run Windows on my Mac and buy Brunton's adapter and software but I don't like this idea.
