The solutions posted in different posts here unfortunately do not work for me 😟 I shall keep repeating them but no luck 😟
It worked! Thank you for your help.
I Cant do anything on my itunes because it keeps saying accessing itunes store. it wont let me click anything & when i click cancel it says canceling and stays like that and I'm STILL not able to click anything on itunes. I need IMMEDIATE help please.
Go back to the original post and look for dirtrider6591 solution. That worked for me.
I had the same problem as you. What I did was I deauthorized all computers on my itunes account. After that I reauthorized my computer and BAM!!! no more annoying "accessing itunes store" pop ups every 2 seconds anymore. I hope this helps.
Launch iTunes, select Music Store, and click your Account name in the upper right corner of the iTunes window. When prompted to do so, enter the password for your Apple ID.
At the bottom of the first panel in the Apple Account Information window you’ll see the number of computer authorizations you’ve used.
When you reach five authorizations a new “Deauthorize All” button appears at the bottom of this pane.
If you’re sure that you want to deauthorize all your computers, click this button. iTunes will ask you if you’re really sure. Click Deauthorize All Computers and, as requested, your computers will be deauthorized.
after this just reauthorize your computer and the problem should be fixed...
I've tried both suggestions and neither of them would work. I go to deauthorize my account and it tells me its timed out. HELP would be appreciated!
Thank you - your solution solved my problem. Brilliant!
(Should clarify that it was the jmarsh solution of deactivating ALL computers that fixed the bug).
THANKS!!!!!
ITUNES WORKING PERFECTLY NOW!!! 🙂
This started happening to me after the latest upgrade. So frustrating. The solutions posted here didn't work for me. iTunes store is essentially useless to me until there is a fix.
This worked for me:
Go to the Store drop-down menu.
Click Authorize This Computer.
It turns out after the upgrade, I had to re-authorize. No idea why. But the good news is, I no longer have this problem.
@jmarsh433 thank you! Deauthorizing all the computers and then reauthorizing my current computer helped fix the problem. I recommend trying this method!
Thank you jmarsh433!
Very glad to have this problem taken care of.

If that doesn't work try uninstalling Realplayer, if you have it.
