Q: iTunes keeps "Accessing iTunes Store" for no reason

Hi, lately iTunes has been coming up with the "Accessing iTunes Store" loading bar for no discernable reason to me. I'm not trying to open anything in the store, I don't have any continuing downloads, it is just "accessing". I can still use the store; I just downloaded an album then. But this loading bar is really frustrating as it stops me from using the software for a second or two. It comes up every 5-20 seconds when I use iTunes, so it's very intrusive. Is this maybe a bug within the new iTunes software that I just downloaded?

Any assistance would be gratefully accepted.

Try:
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4123?viewlocale=en_US

If that doesn't work try uninstalling Realplayer, if you have it.

Thanks veega. That did it for me. I deleted all my Bigfoot Networks autoruns and it worked like a charm after that.

Thank you!!! This is what did the trick for me after trying everything else! Going to account and deauthorize ALL Computers and then Reauthorize! FINALLY!!!!
