After putting screen to sleep (eg via hotcorner) -> no wake up

iMac 27"
Different issues with sleep/wakeup of iMac.

1. After automatic going into sleep, my iMac will not wakeup again when moving bleutooth mouse or hitting wired keyboard.

2. When putting iMac manually into sleep, everything works as expected.

3. When putting screen only into sleep via hotcorner, screen will not wakeup again after moving bluetooth mouse or hitting wired keyboard.

I already did all resets and a clean reinstall, but problem still persist.

Is there somebody with the same problem, and even better, does anyone known a solution?

imac, Mac OS X (10.6)

Have you updated to 10.6.7? If not I'd recommend doing so using this sequence:

1. Repair Disk Permissions (Applications - Utilities - Disk Utility) before and after upgrade
2. Backup the computer using either Time Machine or a cloning application such as SuperDuper or CCC.
3. Disconnect all peripherals
4. Turn off all apps except your browser
5. Download and install the Combo Update located at: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1363 using the onscreen instructions.
6. Check to see computer is running OK
7. Reconnect peripherals
8. You're done.

Then check to see if your sleep issue has been addressed in the update.
