Macbook air 11 backpack?

Okay so I have done a lot of searching and I cant find a backpack that would be suitable for my macbook air 11. Heres what I'm looking for..
-Something slim, small, and light
-Stylish
-Decent price
-Comfortable
Basically something that will be able to fit my computer (with sleeve) and charger that is compact. I'm not interested in messenger bags. I can't find anything that fits this criteria from the other topics after a lot of research. I'm a college student so I need something I can carry on my back everywhere with me. Anyone have any suggestions?

First question is, are you only going to carry around the MBA or are you going to carry around books and other student paraphernalia as well? If books, etc. are coming with you, type in a search for 12" laptop backpacks. You'll need that tiny extra space for the books etc.

Now if you are only going to carry around your laptop, a wallet and phone and little else...second question: are you male or female? If male read no further 😉 I found the perfect backpack for my MBA...but it's a backpack "purse." This one happens to be quilted (and so cushions my Air nicely), and the choice of fabric were, well, various shades of paisley :-D

So, I've a purple paisley quilted backpack. But hey, it works! It's little and fits my MBA, wallet, iphone, the cord, sunglasses, keys and not much else, but then I don't need room for much else.

Got it from this place:

This is a small store run by the owner, and I'm sure she'll send you a picture of said "backpack" if you e-mail her.

I use a sort of messenger bag, slung over a shoulder, with my MacBook (plus iPad and data for meetings). It fits nicely under the seat in front of my for air flights to those meetings (a major factor if you want access on the flight). I may get a form-fitting sleeve for the Air for protection, if I find something appropriate.

Warning: The rest is off topic; sorry for the ramble.

I'm planning to get a maxed out (128 GB, 4G RAM, 1.6 MHz processor) 11" Air for travel, local meetings and just plain fun. This 13" Late 2008 AL MacBook is my main machine. I just upgraded it to a 500 GB HDD and in the process found my battery was swollen in one cell, so Apple gave me a new one on AppleCare.

I've partitioned a 1 TB usb drive for backing up the MacBook (500 GB), the MBAir (128 GB) and a third "Files" partition (FAT32 for that one) to store files developed on my workhorse PC (e.g., MP3 and MP4 rips)

Love the MacBook, but it takes up lots of table space in meetings and getting the Air will reduce wear and tear -- perhaps making it last another 2-1/2 years. And traveling with the Air, I'll be able to take more paper (meetings are focused on financial issues -- a Finance Committee -- so we always seem to have more paper than anticipated.

Hows that for me rationalizing buying a new toy? At 74 I don't tend to wait for the "next generation" of computers -- though I've decided to bypass the iPad2 due to no improvements of interest to me.

I purchased one of these and quite like it. It's a very inexpensive backpack on the small side, fits the 11" Air in a laptop partition inside the bag and will hold a few papers, books and wallet. Not many pockets, but it's been all I need. There is also a matching sleeve for the 11" Air on the same website, just search "Chloe Dao".

It's a somewhat girly style so might not work if you're a guy.
