iphone 4 trouble updating

Hi

I have notice the last week or so that my iphone wont update twitter or Facebook. I have to turn it off and then restart it for it to work again. Also when I am in twitter it has a blue dart in the top right hand corner next to the battery icon, does anyone know what this means????

I have the latest downloaded update for the iphone 4 which I downloaded last Thursday.

Any help always appreciated.

The blue dart is indicating that it is trying to find my location. I am able to turn it off through settings.

Not too sure why the phone is freezing when I use Twitter and Facebook.

Any help appreciated...thank you

If may be some corrupted app data.

You can try killing the apps from the background running apps, reboot phone, then delete them from phone, and reinstall them by iTunes.

You can also check if phone hangs with any app who uses location services, it may happen something wrong there.

I am having trouble updating to the newest software version on my iPhone.

Everytime I try to update the wait time shows up to 4Hrs to complete the update.

Why is it taking so long just to update? FYI, Im using the most current version of iTunes on Window 7
