Unrecognized password

Hi! Since a few days I have an irritating problem with the wireless connection. Some days ago, trying to connect my macbook, is appeared the error "Invalid Password". I have just try to restart my router, to change password and also to change the type of encryption (default setting: WPA/PSK), but nothing results. Now I'm using my wifi connection without protection, but I use daily other protected wifi network. How can i solve this problem? Thanks

PS: sorry for my bad english.

I think the problem isn't the router, the real problem is the AirPort...

I think you are right. I am having the same issue. Is it a 10.6.7 issue? I thought I could apply Apple OS upgrades without fear, but not so sure any more...

Make sure that your router is using AES instead of TKIP encryption for WPA.

No, the problem isn't for the upgrade, the problem is started before the installation of 10.6.7, but with the upgrade i hoped that the problem could be solved...

I have changed my password also to AES, but the problem is still present... 😟

Hi, has anyone found a solution to this problem? I'm having exactly the same problems as Davide above. I agree that the problem lies in Airport. I have tried all the obvious, switching modem, router off, resetting etc. Nothing seems to work. My other laptop on windows seems to be working fine and the password for WPA2 is working on windows. But on my macbook it says the password is incorrect or I get conncection time-out.

Hopefully someone can help, because this is really frustrating.
