Can I use Apple TV to stream everything (desktop, YouTube, Safari, iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand, etc.) to my TV
or do I still need an obnoxiously large cable to connect to my MacBook Pro for that stuff?
Is Apple TV only good for watching stuff streamed thru iTunes and Netflix and the YouTube app?

If you own an ios device running 4.3 you can use airplay to stream other content, this will be expanding as developers implement the feautre.iMac 2.8GHz 2GB RAM ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.8), Apple TV 2G
