restoring the calender app

I also tried what modular747 suggested, but calendar still was missing. But I found a way to get it back: Swipe right ftom ypur home screen. It will show the date & links to news stories, etc. Scroll down to calendar. It may show an option to "open". Otherwise click & hold...& I forget what I did exactly, but I eventually saw a list of Apple apps, including calendar, with the box which said "open" in blue next to it. I clicked & held that until it opened. Then I looked on homescreen & it was there. I think my content was missing, at first, but a few minutes later all my calendar content was back in there.

same thing happend to me I too reset but still no calendar app??? where is it??

Tried all that, everything reset, except calendar app is still MISSING! This was the original stock app. What else can I try?

Brilliant! I had already tried searching the App Store and was not getting anywhere. This worked great.
