Hi,

I'm new to Mac. Anyway, I have had my MacBook Air for about 3 months now. Recently, it has started freezing after startup. As in, my computer starts up and then I am usually able to open one app and then it freezes and have to do a force-quit. This problem consistently happens every morning and sometimes other times as well.

I have been searching the forums for answers but I mostly find the answers too complicated to comprehend (filled with technical jargon). I have started up the laptop in safe mode and still hit the same problem (this time while trying to verify the disk).

Recently, I also installed a couple of mac updates--I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

Any tips are appreciated, thanks.

Is this problem with every app installed in your mac or just a one application ?
Can you tell me which application you faced this type of problems ?

Because you mention force quit is working , that means machine process is working (may be i am wrong). But provide more details which application you faced this problem ?
