Airplay and Keynote

Hello All,

Yesterday I came home from work and my wife surprised me with a new iPad 2. It's the basic WIFI only model. Wince I have an iPhone 4 she didn't see the need to spring for the 3G. Anyway, I use powerpoint a lot at church and other places and was very pleased to see that I could use Keynote for iPad to build and edit presentations and save them in Keynote or PowerPoint formats. What I want to know is can I show a keynote presentation from my iPad 2 via airplay to the new appleTV? It would be great to just be able to bring that little appleTV devise and be able to plug into any projector or tv and run the presentation wirelessly. But I just wanted to know before I sprung for the new AppleTV.

Thanks

Note that this is working now. I just tried it. Double-click your home button on your iPad, swipe to the left where the volume and play controls have always been, and now there's an Airplay button. It will mirror everything on your iPad. But when used with Keynote, it will give you the presenter screen on your iPad so you can see your notes and the full presentation on your television.

I am interested in playing either PPT or Keynote from my Mac laptop to someone else's TV.

What do I need to do this? I don't want to hook up with wires. Anything travel friendly?

I am a speaker and can't carry a screen - seems everyone has a flat screen.

Am told that every TV is different and would need several different plugs types. DOn't want to do this.

What is the easiest way to wirelessly - maybe - to provide a presentation on several different types of TV's.

Thanks,
