RAM in an iPod Nano?

Not sure if this question goes here but I've scoured Google and can't find an answer...

Oh wait! I found it! Wikipedia answered my prayers. Cool, the latest one has 64 MB of RAM.

lol, no, you missunderstood the question.

RAM is not the same thing as memory capacity. The iPod Nano's memory does come in 8 or 16 gigabytes of capacity, but that's like it's hard drive (actually solid state drive, but the effect is the same). RAM is a computer's active memory, and it is almost always smaller than the memory capacity. For example, my desktop has 500 GB of capacity, but only 7 GB of RAM.

It turns out the iPod Nano has only 64 MB of RAM. Or 0.064 GB, which is fine because so far as computers go, it's very minimalistic. It doesn't need more than that to do what it does. I was just curious as to how small it really was.

This is where I got my numbers: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPod_Nano#Specifications
Note the 2 columns for "Capacity" and "Onboard RAM".
