HELP! how do you convert dvds without paying $30?

i've read all this stuff about converting dvds on the apple website but i still don't understand how to convert dvds i already own without paying? any sugggestions will do. thanks

Hnadbrake is a great free program that rips/encodes dvd's.
Do google search for it.
(oops, it doesn't have windows version-linux and os x only)

Try Nero 6. Nero Recode DVD and Videos to Nero Digital. Make sure you change the Nero Digital Profile to PORTABLE. You can set the audio to 112K, and set video to automatic. After saving in your folder, just click and drag to your iPod. Voila!

I'm using Videora, which is working well enough, but I do have a problem. I want to convert my Simpsons DVDs, but I cant figure out how to convert just one episode and/or all of the episodes on the DVD. All it does is convert the first episode. Any help?

Use "DVD Decrypter" before using "videora" to get all the episodes.

Yeah, I've been using DVD Decrypter, but i don't know where to go or what to press in order for it to not just burn the first one
