how to change wireless channel

I am having a problem connecting wirelessly to my Roku Player (netflix player).
I called their technical support and they told me that I need to change the wireless channel to 11.
Does anyone know how I go about doing this on the Time Capsule? And will changing the channel screw up my other settings?

thank you!!

To change the wireless radio channel on your TC, just do the following using the AirPort Utility:

AirPort Utility > Select the TC > Manual Setup > AirPort > Wireless
o Radio Channel Selection = Manual
o Select "Edit ..."
o 2.4 GHz Channel = 11
o Select "Done"
o Select "Update"

And will changing the channel screw up my other settings?

No. Wireless clients on your network should now find the TC on the new channel.

I'm having a similar problem I have a Linksys wireless router and it's just slow as heck. I live in an apartment and was told by Apple that I need to change my wireless channel, I called Linksys and they of course said I need to buy their $30 service package to fix it, I know I can do it myself, but how? I've tried what eveyone else online is telling me by typing in http://192.168.1.1 to my browser but nothing happens. Is it different with a Mac? Help?

Which Linksys model do you have? Most, if not all, Linksys routers (by default) can be administered using a web-based interface. The default LAN-side IP address for most Linksys models is 192.168.1.1 ... unless you or someone else has changed it.

If you connect your MacBook Pro (temporarily) to the Linksys by Ethernet, and then, enter http://192.168.1.1 in the address window of your favorite browser, you should be greeted with a request for a Username/Password. This would be the Linksys' Administrator credentials and would be required before gaining access to administer it. Once there, you should find a tab or option for Wireless Options and from there an option to change radio channels.
