Testing?

Is it actually possible to become a tester for Apple? I've heard rumors of people becoming software testers; however, I was wondering if it is possible to be an actual product tester. Does anyone know anything about this?

But do be aware, if you take part in a seed program Apple does not guarantee any assistance in the event the program (or your own failure to follow the requirements precisely) leads to problems with your computer.

I was offered such a privilege three or four years ago but when I asked if mistakes on my part would be corrected by Apple at their expense, I never even received a reply despite two prompts. A shame really because less experienced people as I was then (indeed still am compared to many) are as essential to a testing program as the genius.

Hey zcook925, it is possible to become a Software/Beta Tester for Apple.

But you do need to start off by joining Apple's Developer Program by clicking on the provided link; http://developer.apple.com

Hopefully you do contribute to Apple Support Communities as it may increase your chances in being picked into the Appleseed Program, Good luck mate!
