SUID file

After running repair permissions, everythings good except this--- Warning: SUID file "System/Library/Core"...has been modified and will not be repaired.
Everything works fine except my blackberry desktop software...it wont connect. Don't know if this "modification" has anything to do with it or not. I'm just concerned about the SUID file...whatever that is. Can anyone tell me if there's cause for concern here? Thanks....
