Getting an error "This certificate was signed by an unknown authority"

Hi all,

I am getting an error *"This certificate was signed by an unknown authority"* in Keychain Access when I am installing any certificate into Keychain.

Anybody can help me to resolve this problem?

I tried keychain's First Aid to Repair and to Verify problem but First Aid is giving *"no problem found"* message.

Please reply as soon as possible with the possible solution.

Hi All,

I solved this problem myself. See solution below.

Download the "Apple Worldwide Developer Relations" Certificate from the Certificates Section of the "Provisioning profile Portal" in iOS Dev Center and double-click it to add it to your Keychain. Our Certificates will work properly.

I did this..do I have to reboot or something because the "This certificate was signed by an unknown authority" message did not go away.

got the same issue, downloaded "Apple Worldwide Developer Relations" still showing same error..

Basically, you cannot manage certificates remotely using the OS X Server app, you need to use it locally, on the machine from which you want to manage certificates.
