Registering an iPad with different apple ID & iTunes account

Hi,

I use my boyfriends iTunes account on my iMac and iPad but have my own apple id and iTunes account I rarely use. If I register my iPad or shuffle under my own apple ID will I be able to synch it with his account? I'm thinking if I have support issues etc if it's logged under me it will be easier but only do that if I can ensure I can still access his accounts with the new registered devices.

Devices can only be registered to one account. You need to decide which one it is going to be.

That was what I had thought, thank you for the confirmation. So to use FaceTime on my iPad2 could I use my own mobile me or an apple Id. Or do I need to stick with his logons?

No, you can use any Apple ID at all to register your iPad for FaceTime.
