how do I install Dropbox on my iPad?

Download the app from this link then sync your iPad.

Or, on your iPad, tap the App Store icon. Tap Categories at the bottom of the window in the menu. Type in Dropbox in the search field top right corner of the window.

You can download the app directly from the iPad that way. But make sure and sync to your computer so it's backed up in your iTunes account in case you need to restore your iPad at some point.

You go to the AppStore on your iPad. Type Dropbox into the search bar and you can install it from there.

You cannot install the desktop version of Dropbox on an iPad, and cannot install any apps for the iPad through Safari.

You can also go to the AppStore in iTunes on your computer, download Dropbox and then sync it to the iPad via iTunes.

Safari should have nothing to do with installing Dropbox on your ipad. You need to get the free Dropbox app at the app store and install it. But I'm curious, what Dropbox were you trying to install that involved Safari? The version for a mac/pc?
