"Pages" allows for isosceles and right-angled triangles and these can be manipulated to a certain extent but not to the extent of making them scalene.
Hi Scrumper,
If you know the location of each of the three vertices of the triangle you want, you can also create that shape using the tool at the end of the list in the Shapes button menu.
Click where the first vertex should be, move the mouse to the second location and click, repeat for the third location (click), then click once more on the first vertex location to close the shape.
As a (pedantic) aside, the two triangle buttons in the menu insert 1) an equilateral triangle and 2) a right triangle that is also an isosceles triangle.
The equilateral triangle shape remains isosceles (two sides equal) if it is made wider or narrower, or is made taller or shorter using the resize handles.
The right isosceles triangle remains a right triangle, but becomes scalene (no side equal to another) if it is made wider or narrower, or taller or shorter in this manner.
Fully specified, what you're looking for is a method to produce a scalene triangle that is also either an acute triangle or an obtuse triangle.

Barry
