thunderbolt in win7 64 bit OS

I see promise has the pegasus disk drive that interfaces to macbook pro with thunderbolt, but it says mac os X.

Anyone know if thunderbolt on promise pegasus would work in win7 64 bit OS?

Only looking for JBOD (just a bunch of disks) vice raid.

Thanks, Steve

It should work just fine. When you install windows, then the OS X bootcamp drivers disk, thunderbolt drivers should have been installed as well. You might have to update to bootcamp 3.2 for the latest and greatest via apple software update in windows. As far as I have read on thunderbolt, its supposed to work just like USB would, but super fast, so it should just be plug and play.

I may stay away from this bleeding edge technology for now (I have been cut a few times!) and just get a dual esata Expresscard /34 card to plug into my 17" MBP - using USB2.0 is killing me when copying 2TB of data from one drive to another (use a 8 bay removable sata computer when in the office).

It doesn't even look like one can buy the pegasus 4 bay device right now.....
