ISIC Discounts at Apple stores?

Hey,
Ive been meaning to buy a new iPad at an apple store at the U.S

Im an ISIC holder (International Student Identification Card)
I do not live or study on United States borders but in an international university

http://www.isic.org/

Will Apple store honor my card? if so what are the benifits? Do I need to bring something other than my ISI Card with me?

Thanks in advance!

Amit

If your card provides the same advantages as students/faculty in the USA, then you'll get no discount. Apple does not provide discounts to students for "consumer" products like iPads and iPods. I suspect iPhones are the same way. For laptops and desktops, then yes, US students do get a 10% discount. That may also be what you'd get with the ISIC hard.

As I understand the education discounts, they are provided by your university's book store directly, as reflected in the prices for the appropriate Apple products, or through the online Apple Store for Education. I am not familiar with walking into an Apple Store, flashing an ID and receiving discounts.

I do not see an online Apple Store or an Apple Store for Education for the nation of Israel. So it appears at first look there are no discounts available for you. The 3rd party Authorized Apple vender for Israel is the iCon Group. Perhaps in checking with them directly you can ask if they offer student/education discounts.
