Need to Update BIOS so I can get a game to work on Windows Side

First off I have no idea which forum to post this in, this seemed to be the most relevant. I recently purchased a game called Shogun total war 2 that will only work on windows. It won't work for me, as far as there techs can tell it's because my BIOS isn't updated, since I have a mac I don't know if you can update the BIOS for the windows side. Please any help. Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.7), Has Bootcamp and Windows 7 pro installed

Macs don't use a BIOS. They use EFI and theres no way to update it.

So they don't have anything to help support the windows side? The game is giving me the Blue Screen Of Death because my BIOS isn't up to date. I really don't want to have spent 50 dollars for nothing. This *****.

Then I suggest you contact the maker of the game and ask them how they deal with EFI based computers.

I have contacted them, they say they can do nothing. Many other people have the same issue, but since they have other motherboards they can do a bios update and they are good, but not me. Grrr.
