Mac will not recognise mobile broadband device

Hi,

I am having a problem with my dongle in that when i plug it in the software for the dongle is not picking up the device. The device allows me to install software from it and it also gets picked up in the system profiler but i dont know why it is not picked up by the broadband software. Also i know people with the same model of dongle who get it to work fine with their macbook pro.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Kris

Apologies the model of the dongle is the Orange Huawei E1752 but i have not installed the drives im not sure where to find them. I have the latest orange software and the system profiler registers the dongle as being inserted into the USB however the software still wont connect. I have been told that it may be a problem with the power distribution to the USB port and that it does not have enough power to register the dongle but i do not know how to change the power distribution.
