Creating checkmarks and checkboxes?

What I have done in the past is use the Image Bullets that have the blue box and add my text with that. Then I make another text box that has the blue box with the red check mark. You have to resize the check mark boxes slightly (I think you make them about 110% when scaling with text). Then add a Wipe Build In for the second text box and make sure it is set to happen By Paragraph and on click.

Have you figured this out yet? Im trying to do the same thing.
