Documents Folder is no longer on my dock.

Greetings,

My Documents folder left my dock. How can I get it back on to my dock.

Click on the sidebar item with the house icon and drag the Documents folder back.

Go to your Documents folder i*n Finder* Machintosh HD/Users/yourname/Documents, *not in the Sidebar.* From there drag the actual Documents folder to your Dock.

My "Documents" just dissappeared from my sidebar. I can find all the items that are enclosed in it via "Finder" but I want to be able to LOOK at the documents list. How do i get it back in my "Favorites" list?

You might want to consider starting a new discussion. Since this one is a couple of years old, less people are likely to look at it. A new post would be much more visible. You can link to this one.

Finder/Preferences/Sidebar/Favorites and check Documents.
