Mix Stacked Bar with Line Chart

Would like to chart 7 data series. Six as Stacked Bars and a seventh as a Line graph. All have same x-axis and same y-axis. I have been able to do this in Excel in past, but I now use Numbers and can't seem to create this option. Any suggestions appreciated.

Feature not available, but may be constructed.

Numbers allows only a single line plus a single set of non-stacked bars in a combination chart.

But you can construct a stacked bar chart using the first seven data series and a second line chart using the same categories (X-axis values) and the eighth data series (Y-axis values). Remove all labels from the second chart, set the chart's background fill to None, then lay the second chart on top of the first, as shown in the illustration.

You may need to do some minor adjustments to the size of one chart or the other. (I needed to squeeze the line chart's horizontal size a touch.)

Regards,
Barry

PS: The line chart data in the example is the sum of each of the sets of data for the stacked bars. That was a choice, not a built in requirement.
