Screen saver starts up while Safari is streaming

That's it really . . I'll be watching NetFlix or any other streaming video, and the screen saver starts up right on time as if I'd been completely inactive.
What am I missing here ?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.8), iMac 6,1 / Intel / 24 " / 2 GB Ram / "750" GB / LaCie 500 GB external. . .

Hi,

Open System Preferences / Desktop & Screen Saver then select the Screen Saver tab.

Where you see: Start screen saver

Adjust the slider so the screen saver doesn't activate so soon.

If that doesn't help, open a Finder window. Select your Home folder in the Sidebar on the left now open the Library folder then the Preferences folder.

Move the com.apple.screensaver.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash.

Restart your Mac. See if that makes a difference.

Thanks guys,
But I wasn't really talkin' about a problem with the screen-saver coming on too soon.
That can certainly be adjusted, of course. And a move of the mouse causing it to cancel always works fine.

What my question is, more concisely, is why would it come on when something active is happening, such as watching something on NetFlix in Safari ?
I thought it only came on during inactivity.
