Does iMovie offer a simple way to split a movie for upload to YouTube?

Is there some way that I can tell iMovie to take the entire length of a movie and divide it into X# of parts and save the parts to the project library?

For example. I have a 24 minute movie and I need to get it into (3) equal parts. Is there some way to have iMovie save into Part1- 00:08:00, Part2- 00:08:00, Part3- 00:08:00

-or-

Let's say I wanted to divide the movie into (4) equal parts

Part1- 00:06:00, Part2- 00:06:00, Part3- 00:06:00, Part4- 00:06:00

-or-

Let's say I wanted to divide the movie into (2) equal parts

Part1- 00:12:00, Part2- 00:12:00

You get the picture....

Is there a fast friendly way of doing this?
