iMovie HD help with Livetype

Quick question...would like to create some cool titles with LiveType and import into iMovieHD for openers, etc....I make one, it imports, but doesn't do everything I see it doing in the LiveType window...any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

What are you importing exactly?

I can't see how the LiveType project file would work at all.

If you use the Render Movie function, it only produces a file that uses the Apple Animation codec.
Can iMovie use that codec? I know iMovie is limited in which codecs it can use. Maybe that is the problem.

After you have rendered a movie from LiveType, you have the option to Export a movie. This will let you choose a codec that matches the rest of your footage. Because that version is self contained, there's no good reason that it should not work.

...thanks for the suggestion...will see if that works..may be that I just really need to teach myself Final Cut Xpress.....
