App to upgrade on Mac App Store with email that is not mine

Hello to everyone,

I have an update of a free app on Mac App Store called "Itsy". However, i never install that app through Mac App Store or by other means! When i try to install it through Mac App Store i can't do it and Mac App Store ask me for the password of the following email " **@**.de"! This email it is not mine and i don't know how i get it! I buy my new MacBook Pro last week on an Apple Store! Anyone can tell me how i solve it? Or i should make a fresh install?

Well I was able to verify through someone that the exact same problem you guys are having with that exact same email address was in fact a hacked app store program. He removed everything one by one, each time reloading the App Store to see until the update went away. He went through like 10 apps before he removed Angry Birds and Asphalt 6 when the update number finally went away.

I gave you the best fix I know how, you might have a different issue. Maybe a friend or a family member installed an app you're unaware of. Are you getting that email address "xxx@xxx" when you try to update the itsy app? Does it ask for someone else's login credentials? If so, and it's the same email address everyone else is having issues with, then you do indeed have a warez app on your computer, I can guarantee that.

In my opinion Apple could solve this type of problem if Mac App Store keep the information associated to a certain account in the cloud. If some one use a cracked app it is a problem of that person and Mac App Store shouldn't look for those type of apps. For example, and as i can see, the information of the purchases associated to each account is in the cloud. Why i say that? Because i make a fresh install and Mac App Store give me the purchases that i made with my Apple ID despite i don't have them installed in my mac! So, why updates don't function the same way?

Ok guys: I had the same problem here, probably with the same @something.de mail account that everybody here experienced.

Now the good news: as many of you noticed, this "Itsy" thing comes up after the installation of an App (i.e.: one day you discover that you have to upgrade Itsy, and you neither knew what Itsy was... then you discover that your AppleID is not yours...). So you just have to uninstall this app to solve the problem.

The bad news is that... only cracked apps do this! Believe me: I use my MacBook for work and I never wanted cracked apps on it. BUT a friend of mine (and I really mean a friend of mine) tried a couple of them and they gave him that problem: they are Hoyle Casino and Chopper 2. Of course those apps can be found in AppStore: that could be the AppleID problem that many of us found on their AppStore.

Just legal things here: I don't own any cracked app in my MacBook, nor I hold any repository of warez.
