How to make my computer recognize my ipod as a mp3 storage device.

Whenever i connect my ipod touch to my computer it gives me options on what to do with the photos on my ipod because it keeps recognizing it as a camera. I've read on many of these threads and tried many things but i need my computer to recognize my ipod as a storage device so i can see and tranfer my music. Currently, whenever i pull up my ipod on "my computer" it just shows me the photos and nothing else. I've removed to photos hoping that would make a difference but it hasn't.

What can I do?

I need help, please and thank you 🙂

It is not a storage device. Ipod touch does not support disk mode and will not behave as a flash drive. It simply mirrors the selected content on your computer.

Everything is synced via itunes.

Open itunes, plug in ipod, select the sync options, sync.

If there are pics on your ipod ( taken with ipod or saved from ipod) then it should show as a camera. this is hoe you import these photos.
