Cannot connect to Canon ip1800 series printer on a shared network - HELP!
I have tried the following:
1) Opened Print&Fax, selected IP tab, in protocol: IPP, address: IP address of computer printer is connected to, queue: left blank, print using: Generic PostScript Printer. Changed print using to: Canon ip1800 Series software.
2) Opened Print & Fax, Windows tab, selected the network, selected the computer, selected the shared printer.
Both of the above options did not work for me. I try printing using option 1, and the print status is always "Connecting to printer...." and remains there. I try printing using option 2, and it says "printing" and remains there. No further progress.
Can someone please help?
