User profile for user: kmac1036 kmac1036 User level: Level 4 2,370 points Apr 1, 2011 1:32 PM in response to Griffin J. the utilities are on the disc too... try holding C at boot like mentioned... otherwise your optical drive or system bus may be bad. also try a PRAM reset too: hold command option P R at startup until you hear the chime a 2nd time.
