screen saver pictures too big

Question

screen saver pictures too big

I have read the other posts related to this subject and tried to uncheck and check the energy saver box and it makes no difference. My iPhoto screen saver pictures are zoomed right in. can anyone help ?

Something changed, the pictures in iphoto were the correct size and then for some reason they are zoomed in so I only see 3 quarters of the picture. I have now switched to the apple screen savers in the hope that when I switch back to my iphoto pictures the problem will be solved. (Not very optimistic !)
Can you suggest what I should do ?

The Energy Saver settings have nothing to do with screen saver pic sizes. IIRC, the pics you use are adjusted to fit the screen. If they're not in the same ratio, they'll be resized accordingly.

Install the 10.6.7 update, comes to mind. Additionally, move any screensaver files in your /Library/Preferences/ and ByHost subfolder to the Desktop, restart, reset the screensaver settings, and see if that fixes the issue. I, for one never use anything but the installed ones, but my mate uses family photos and my experience is that they're resized to fit.
