App store on iPad 2 problem

On my new ipad2, when I go to the app store, many app icons don't load. I'm on WiFi and have no other issues with speed on safari and streaming vids, etc. On my first iPad all the app store app icons loaded AOK.

Does the spinning data indicator at the top left ever stop?

Yes, the spinner does indeed stop leaving some icons blank.

Im having exactly the same problem, tried to check if I was signed into my store account, I was but coudnt access the information, it just stuck with the loading wheel...

Not so sure it's an iPad problem. My iPhone and iTouch won't download apps, either. I think perhaps the AppStore may be having problems. I don't know. Anyone else having problems connecting with anything other than the iPad?
