Out of Memory Error and Crashing while rendering FCP

Hey Gang!

So, I am kind of at my wits end with this one.. I am working on a photo montage (all RGB JPGs scaled down to a reasonable res). The project consists of Motion4 projects from MotionVFX.com, animated stills in the timeline, and FXFactory LightSlice and CoverFlow photo montage elements. I am working in ProRes LT 23.98. I have tested ram overnight with TechToolPro6, Memtest, and AHT and everything checks out fine. To ensure there were no software issues, I re-installed the OS after zeroing out the system drive. Reinstalled everything, ran updates, made sure I have the latest drivers and firmware etc.
Still getting Out of Memory! errors when rendering as well as random crashing while previewing.

Between the Radeon 5870, 14gb ram, I figured this system would be flying... There's gotta be something I'm missing.. Thoughts?

Trashed all previous render files to re-render the whole timeline. Got everything to render in smaller chunks, but trying to render the entire timeline is where the issues occur. Also, exported all Motion project files to the FCP timeline ProRes422. NOTE- I did find a couple B&W pics that were "Grayscale" and converted those to RGB, but still have the same problem. Double checked and there are NO CMYK photos.

There are 14GB of tested good ram in this machine, and the high end radeon 5780, that should be a workhorse..

Sure. You are looking in the wrong place though. The "out of memory" error is always caused by problematic media or a busted project file.

So here it is.. I narrowed the out of memory and crashing issues to FXFactory plugins having some sort of conflict with my Blackmagic Intensity Pro Card. If I Command F12, and turn off the broadcast monitor output, everything renders fast and fine. Totally bizarre, because I have never had any other issues with the BM card. The FX plugins are new to my system and that seems to be where the issues are coming from.
